Ministry Report

It seems that we celebrated the New Year the other day! But we are already in the middle of February. It looks that the time moves very fast. The Lord wants us to make use of the opportunities to share the Gospel and lead as many as possible to the Lord. I thank God for giving Ranie and me many chances to be in touch with people through personal evangelism and share the good news of Salvation apart from the organised programmes.  Here are some short reports about such organised meetings.

Thank you for your prayers.

Thank God for those who were drawn closer to the Lord.

YMCA College of Physical Education, Chennai

I was invited to preach to a large audience during Christmas season on 2009. One of such invitation came from YMCA College of Physical Education in Chennai.

About 2000 people gathered to listen carols by the College choir, few special numbers from popular singers and the message was delivered on "The New Identity given us by the Lord Jesus Christ who was born on Christmas day". Number of people showed their desire to open their hearts to the Lord. Such act of the Spirit of God was repeated in every meeting during the season.

Incidentally more than 80% of the people in such meetings were non-Christians. Praise God for what He did in the lives of many.

Methodist Annual Convention, Danishpet

I was invited along with Brother Stanley as a speaker for the Methodist Annual Convention at Danishpet.

About 2500 participants including 600 young people attended this strategic conference. On the first day at the Santhia meeting after my message on Acts 1:8, most of them stood up to give their hearts to the Lord and dedicate their lives to be a witness for the Lord. I was told that there were people who took the step to reconcile with others within the church as well as families. Praise God for such evidences of the revival touch.

Missionary Challenge Meeting, Chennai

On 26th of January, our country celebrated its 59th Republic day. The same evening about 500 people met at Zion church to pray and consider about the vision for the mission of the Lord. I was invited to give the message at this missionary conference. At the end of the meeting many dedicated their lives to pray, and practically involve in the mission of the Lord.

The movement of the Spirit of God was evident when many prayed with a missionary concern for our country. A few stayed back for counseling and prayer.

5 to 15 (Five to Fifteen) Inauguration Meeting, Chennai

There was a sense of great joy when a new ministry among children of five to fifteen years was launched out by its founders, Mrs. and Mr. Nehru Christopher at Chevaipettai, Chennai. I was a co-speaker along with Mr. James Vincent, the director of Salvation TV. I spoke from Zachariah 4 on vision, clarity of vision, initiating the task and moving towards completion, starting small and growing big, co-operative effort, and trusting the Lord to face opposition and discouragements, not by might nor by power, but by the Spirit of God. There was a great rejoicing among the gathering of a large audience and several clergy about this new ministry. The Lord is concerned about the children who will be touched by such God-initiated ministries.

RZIM Academy Devotions, Chennai

I was asked to lead couple of devotions at the ninth batch of RZIM Academy on Christian Apologetics. I spoke from 1 Corinthians Chapter 13 on the importance of being filled with the compassion of Christ which is the ultimate apologetic.

There was good interest and response.

Haggai Institute, Maui

Pray for me as I get ready to facilitate 6 lectures and a workshop at Advanced Leadership Seminar of Haggai Institute in Maui. Pray for the long journey and the teaching session.

May God help us to pray for each other to fulfil His purposes.

Be in touch to encourage us.

In the amazing grace of our Lord Jesus Christ,

Prakash Yesudian
